In 2015 Library Plus started collaboration with the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević“ within the UNESCO Participation project „MIL – Strategy and education“. Project activities run in two directions: workshops for librarians, teachers, pupils and citizens; and activity of the cross-sectoral Work Group that has to draft the Strategy for enhancing MIL through the network of public and school libraries.

In 2013 Library Plus started educational activities on one of the hottest topics of modern librarianship: information literacy. In April, one-day workshops for public and school librarians were organized in two regional libraries and at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, Serbia. By the end of the year they were followed by twelve local replicas led by participants of the initial workshops.
